Courtney Horton, the Creative Director of Renov8 Imaging has been working as a graphic designer since 2007.  His background includes freelance, contracted and retainer graphic design experience, with a history of print, interactive and digital design projects to acclaimed completion. With over a decade of experience in design and communication and a client list that includes such names as Bishop Horace E. Smith, of Apostolic Faith Church, Stellar Award and Grammy nominated artist Deitrick Haddon and Page Turner, real estate mogul and co-host of HGTV’s Flip or Flop Nashville, Renov8 Imaging is an emerging leader in the field of Graphic Design & Marketing in Chicago. On top of working hard to expand his company, Courtney is also a loving husband and father of two. 

His eye for design comes from having a foundation in the arts stemming from his parents and grandparents who were all artists. He started formal design training at a late age and as a husband and father, he would have to take classes to complete his degree when he could but what he wasn't taught in a formal classroom setting he made up for with trial and error, a great design community of friends and YouTube University, (lol). He loves what he does and his passion for design will ensure that he stays on top of the learning curve and current trends as well as enhancing his own personal design style. 

 

Renov8 Imaging is a graphic design studio who serves the needs of nonprofits, startups, charter schools and small to medium sized businesses especially those with a faith-based foundation. Part of our design process is getting to know you and your organization. How can any designer effectively convey on canvas what your vision is, if they don't have some sense of it themselves? This is one of the reasons we have been so successful.
